Full Shipping Solution: Perfume Sea Freight From Dongguan, China to Cebu, Philippines (DDP Double Clearance Line)

1. Cargo Classification & Shipping Compliance Requirements

Perfume contains alcohol and other flammable solvents, which is classified as Class 3 Flammable Liquid Dangerous Goods with flammable and explosive risks. It cannot be shipped as ordinary general cargo.

To arrange legal and compliant transportation, two essential documents are mandatory before shipment: MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) and Cargo Transportation Identification Report. These documents are required for dangerous goods booking, customs declaration and port inspection, and no shipment can be processed without complete valid certificates.

In addition, perfume glass bottles are fragile commodities. Strict packaging protection is implemented for every shipment. We fill buffer materials inside cartons to avoid extrusion and breakage. All packaged goods will be palletized professionally to prevent damage during manual handling, loading and transit.

As a special dangerous commodity, perfume must be loaded in dedicated dangerous goods containers instead of ordinary dry containers to ensure transportation safety.

2. Complete Shipping Process

The whole shipment starts from the perfume factory in Dongguan, China. Goods will be first delivered and consolidated at Nansha Warehouse in Guangzhou for cargo sorting, reinforcement and container loading.

We provide one-stop double clearance tax-inclusive door-to-door shipping service, covering export customs declaration, sea freight booking, import customs clearance, tax payment and final local delivery in Cebu. Customers do not need to handle any intermediate procedures personally.

This shipment adopts SITC shipping line with fixed vessel and voyage:

Vessel & Voyage: SITC PYEONGTAEK/2616S

ETD: 2026-05-22 (Nansha Port)

ETA: 2026-05-29 (Cebu Port)

3. Transit Time & Delay Explanation

The pure sea freight time from Nansha Port to Cebu Port is only 7 days. However, restricted by the poor berthing capacity and limited terminal resources of Cebu Port, vessels need to queue up for berthing and unloading after arrival. The waiting period greatly extends the overall logistics cycle.

The total delivery lead time is about 25 days, with detailed time breakdown as follows:

  • Ocean transit: 7 days
  • Customs clearance processing after arrival: around 7 days for customs release
  • Container devanning and door-to-door delivery: around 5 days

4. Document Standardization & Clearance Notes

Even under the DDP double clearance service, all document information must be fully consistent. All details including product name, quantity, cargo value and HS code must be identical across all documents, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading and ISF filing data.

Vague, conflicting or inconsistent information will directly trigger Philippine customs inspection, resulting in additional costs and shipment delays. We provide pre-shipment document review to unify all data in advance, effectively reducing customs clearance risks and ensuring smooth cargo release.
